Kiwi Seed Co. (Marlb) Ltd was established in 1989. The intention being to establish a Marlborough owned Grain and Seed Company adding value, where possible, to locally grown products.
Since that time a processing plant and Retail outlet have been added to the business and 10 full time staff are employed to service our large client base, both Urban and Rural.
Marlborough land use has changed dramatically in 20 years with growers converting to grape production at the rate of 1000ha per annum. The constantly changing production base has provided a real challenge to the Kiwi Seed core business and yet the company has been able to prosper by concentrating on our ideals and the needs of our farmer customers.

We work on the theory that seed is just as important to life as air and water.
With the foundations laid, the future for Kiwi Seed as a supplier of seeds, grains and stock meals to the region and further a field, should be sound and assured.
